About Rochambeau Home | Healing, Handmade Gifts & Art Therapy Story

Rochambeau Home Gifts began in the quietest moments of my life — the ones shaped by chronic illness, a rare disorder (PolG2 adult onset), AuADHD, and the daily work of navigating a body that doesn’t always cooperate. I started making wax seal stickers as a form of art therapy, a way to soothe my nervous system and create something beautiful when everything else felt overwhelming.

What began as a small act of self‑care slowly grew into something bigger: a gift shop built from resilience, creativity, and the belief that tiny things can carry big meaning.

I’m currently in the middle of a major life transition — selling my home, separating from my spouse, and moving to Oregon to access the healthcare I need. As someone estranged from a toxic family, this journey isn’t just a relocation. It’s a reclamation. A rebuilding. A choosing of myself.

I’m creating a home for the first time — not just a place to live, but a place where I belong. And this shop is part of that home.

Gifts have always been my love language. Not grand gestures, but thoughtful, intentional pieces that say “I see you.” Here, you’ll find small‑batch treasures, rotating collections, and work from other artists whose creations deserve to be held, loved, and shared. These are gifts for you, for a friend, for someone who needs a spark of joy or a reminder that they matter.

Rochambeau — paper, rock, scissors — has always felt like a little wink from the universe. A reminder that luck, play, and choice are woven into everything.

This space is my offering: a home built from healing, a journey shared with honesty, a collection curated with heart, and a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, beauty still finds a way in.
